Welcome to SEGCM!

The Southeast Chapter of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (GCM) is a member organization of Professional Geriatric Care Managers (PGCMs) whose purpose includes the development, advancement and promotion of human and dignified social, psychological, and health care for Elders and their families. Our geriatric care managers, located in Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina, are certified and/or licensed at the independent level and meet the criteria for membership at the national level.

Qualified individuals with degrees in Human Services (Nursing, Social Work, Psychology, Gerontology), primarily engaged in direct practice, administration or supervision of client centered services to the elderly comprise the membership.

Through Assessment, Education, Advocacy, Counseling and the Delivery of specific services, PGCMs are professionals who can help guide families through the transition of aging in a caring, organized, thoughtful way.

Founded in 1986, GCM is nationally recognized as the leader in the provision of Professional Geriatric Care Management and is often called upon to provide expert information for the national media.
